BWB4: Back In The New York Groove

BWB4: Back In The New York Groove

It’s official: BWB is coming back to New York City for its fourth installment on September 24, with a kickoff party the night before and some after party fun on that Saturday night (as well as an NFL Sunday viewing party). We’ve lined up what might be our best lineup to-date, with everyone from our usual suspects (A.J. Daulerio, JE Skeets, Matt Ufford, Jamie Mottram) to officials from the NFL and the one-and-only Takeru Kobayashi, the competitive eating legend from Japan. And we’ve got an amazing venue to house all these big names: Bloomberg HQ in Manhattan.

Let’s get the obvious out of the way: I know, that’s a college football Saturday. Unfortunately, due to baby arrivals, work commitments and other forms of life interfering, we got ourselves to a place where our options were (a) hold BWB4 on a college football gameday, (b) hold it on an NFL gameday, or (c) don’t have one at all until 2012. Sadly, while I’d prefer to miss a Sunday of NFL action as opposed to college football Saturday, the masses don’t agree with that POV, and so we opted for September 24.

Scheduling conflict aside, this one is going to be something special, worthy of missing a few games of September pigskin. If you’re in New York or can get there, I’d urge you to snatch up one of our remaining tickets and get there.
